Vegetarians
Certain foods produce more flatulence than others because they contain indigestible complex carbohydrates. Beans, cabbage, onions, garlic, and some seeds all pass through the small intestine and arrive at the large intestine without being digested. This is food for the bacteria in the colon. They go wild on this and their by-product is gas.
Vegetarians produce more gas than meat eaters because the intestinal enzymes cannot digest the cellulose in the vegetables cell walls.
Reducing these foods will reduce flatus gas.
