Books about stomach gas
We have read a couple of books about stomach gas and flatulence.
A very popular book at Barnes and Noble is Walter the Farting Dog by William Kotzwinkle and Glenn Murray. It is about the exploits of a gassy family dog.
KATIE McKY Wisconsin author of her picture book about flatulence, " It All Begins With A Bean ''
Let us know if you have read any good books about the subject.
A couple of movies have flatulence content also:
"Are We There Yet?" Ice Cube in crass, unfunny "family comedy," about bachelor "player" who hates kids but falls for a divorcee (Nia Long) and agrees to drive her obnoxious tween daughter and asthmatic little boy from Portland to Vancouver. Many "comic" scenes put kids in danger: as passengers in scary highway chases, hopping a freight train, briefly trying to operate an SUV and a truck; crotch kicks, flatulence, vomit, toilet jokes; mild profanity; crude language.
Apparently, enough time has elapsed since the unlikely success of "Babe" (1995) and the thud of its sequel, "Babe: Pig in the City" (1998), for someone to consider milking the talking animal formula. "Racing Stripes," a cutesy and terrifically formulaic story about a zebra among racehorses, isn't simply an homage to "Babe"; it's an out and out rip-off. Misfit critter with an unusual gift defies the nay-saying oinks, bleats, quacks and neighs of his farmyard brethren to chase a dream. The cooperation of his outside-the-box-thinking owner is of great assistance. Comic relief — and assorted poop and flatulence jokes — comes right on cue from a pelican and a pair of horse flies named Buzz and Scuzz.
